M.A. Studio: Celebrating Mexican Craftsmanship
M.A. Studio, established in 2013, is a prominent creative hub based in Mexico, dedicated to supporting Mexican artisans. The studio’s mission is to preserve and promote traditional craftsmanship through contemporary design.
In my assignment for Indigenius, I had the opportunity to photograph their vibrant showroom and studio, where a wood carving workshop was held by a talented Mexican artisan. During this workshop, visitors had the chance to engage directly with the craft, and all the proceeds from the event went directly to support the artisan, reinforcing M.A. Studio's commitment to empowering local talent.
